Itinerary

Meet your local driver/guide at the Dashoguz border crossing. After completing border formalities, begin your journey into northern Turkmenistan.
Drive through Dashoguz and continue toward the vast Karakum Desert. As you leave the city behind, the landscape gradually changes from settlements and agricultural areas to open desert.
Travel across the impressive Karakum Desert, one of the largest deserts in Central Asia. Along the way, enjoy views of wide-open sandy landscapes, desert vegetation, and the changing colors of the terrain.
There will be opportunities to stop for photographs and short breaks during the journey.
Continue toward the Darvaza area and arrive at the yurt camp in the afternoon/evening.
Check in to your traditional Darvaza Yurt Camp and have some time to relax after the desert journey.
In the evening, travel to the famous Darvaza Gas Crater, located in the heart of the Karakum Desert.
Watch as the crater glows dramatically against the darkness of the desert night. The fiery crater provides an unforgettable view and excellent opportunities for photography.
Dinner at the Yurt Camp
Return to the yurt camp and enjoy dinner.
Spend the night in a traditional yurt beneath the desert sky.

Breakfast at the Yurt Camp
Wake up in the peaceful surroundings of the Karakum Desert and enjoy breakfast at the yurt camp.
After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey.
Depart Darvaza and travel back through the vast Karakum Desert toward Dashoguz. Enjoy the final views of the desert landscape and take photographs along the way.
Continue to Dashoguz and proceed toward the Dashoguz border crossing.
